Dedicated Servers

Dedicated servers provide increased flexibility, bandwidth and CPU capacity over standard hosting plans. Dedicated servers are managed and owned by FastVirtual. We do not provide co-location services.

Dedicated servers are proactively monitored, and all content is backed up daily. As with our production servers, dedicated servers are equipped with hot-swap power supplies and hard drives. As servers are FastVirtual-owned, minimal downtime is assured should a hardware failure occur.

Dedicated servers, as with our production servers, are proactively monitored. If required, customers can contact us 24/7 for assistance, maintenance or general support.

FastVirtual owned and managed system with dual Pentium® 4 Xeon® processors, 512 MB RAM, 18 GB hard drive, Linux (Ubuntu) operating system with Telnet (not root) access, 24/7 site monitoring with email and pager alerts, 100 Mbit connection to one of FastVirtual's backbone routers, daily incremental and weekly full backups. Pre-installed with Apache web server (CGI, SSI, etc.), POP and SMTP servers, FTP server, name server, stats system, MySQL database and FastVirtual's control panel system.
