SlipStream Acceleration Software

SlipStream accelerates web pages by compressing text, html and graphics. This results in a performance increase of up to 5 times that of a standard dial-up connection.

The SlipStream client application is easy to use and includes the following features:

User Settings

• Adjust image quality
• Configure login information, with password save feature

Advanced Connection Features

• Enable/disable email compression (off by default)
• Proxy exclusion - allows you to specify sites that SlipStream will not accelerate

User Statistics - Summary

• Shows totals for original data size, actual data size and savings ratio

User Statistics - Detailed

• Text acceleration (text, html, xml, JavaScript, CSS)
• Graphics acceleration (gif, jpg and Flash files)
• Your upstream (data going out)

Supported Operating Systems

• All Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 95, 98, Millennium, NT, 2000 and XP)
• Mac OS X
• SlipStream is not compatible with Linux
