Mailing Lists

All FastVirtual hosting plans include fully-featured mailing lists.

FastVirtual's Majordomo-based mailing list system can handle thousands of messages per day. Most mailing list features can be fully customized, including:

• Administrator password
• List owner email address
• Subscribe and unsubscribe policies
• Garbage detection
• New subscriber notification
• Maximum permitted message length
• Moderated list
• Moderator email address
• Moderator password
• Message headers and footers
• Welcome message for new subscribers

Mailing lists can be configured as public or private, as well as unmoderated or moderated. Digest mode is not supported.

Mailing list fees are based on usage. Pricing is $5.00 per 50,000 message block. There is no fee for inactive periods. For accounts with multiple mailing lists, usage fees are combined.

Mailing lists are are easily added and configured from the "Email" area of your account control panel.
