Subwebs/Subdomains

Subwebs (aka subdomains) can be added to FastVirtual Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus web hosting plans.

Subwebs are directories on an existing domain that have been assigned their own host name and IP address. This effectively creates an independent site within an existing domain.

Subwebs can either have a third-level name (i.e. yourchoice,yourname.com), or their own domain name (i.e. anothername.com), in which case visitors would not know they were visiting a subweb.

Please note that subdomains have limited functionality, and are only suitable for basic hosting requirements.

Subwebs are easily added from the "Hosting" area of your account control panel, and are billed at $5.00 per month.
